Skies Pottery, named after owner and artist, Stephanie Kies, is a small business founded on creativity and functionality. All products are small batch, handmade and curated with care from start to finish using a technique of layering multiple glazes to create dynamic blends of color while still showcasing the raw clay underneath. The goal at Skies Pottery is to build a connection to each piece as it's held in your hand.

Stephanie discovered her passion for pottery in 2019. In 2020, after a year of honing her craft, Stephanie prepared to rent her own studio and start her pottery business, but the world had other plans. Faced with the decision to put her dream on hold or take matters into her own hands, Stephanie decided to build her own studio. She converted an enclosed trailer into the she-shed of her dreams! With her home studio complete she launched her Skies Pottery website in July 2022.
